'Geordie' was with us for just short of four years, in that time he played 89 league and cup games and scored 53 goals (not bad as he mostly played in midfield!). 

Simon also helped make the team better prepared by introducing a much more scientific approach to warming up and down as well as training.

Well known for his flexibility, he had no problem playing in any position asked of him and especially enjoyed scoring a hat-trick at Lakenheath from right-hand side of midfield.
