Rob has now retired to concentrate on supporting his sons.

In his first stint Rob had nearly five seasons with the club and during that time he scored over 50 goals for us. In 1998/99 it was his wonderful partnership with Tony Knowles which brought them 60 goals between them and the club it's first ever league championship.

Rob had a bad injury two seasons ago which saw him be out for over 3 months but made his comeback at home to Debden when he scored after only 20 minutes and grabbed a second before coming off after an hour. He then decided to try his luck elsewhere and went to play for Cottenham United but soon returned to the fold. Having decided to concentrate on leading the line for the reserves Alans resignation changing his mind and becoming player/manager.
