Dawksey, well what can I say!!! There is not another player like him, he loves playing, hates training, loves scoring, hates listening, but still a great player who gives the team something ‘different’ whenever he plays.

Dawkes leads the front line well, maybe has a tendency to be greedy, but makes things happen for those around him. You have to take Ian the way he is. A good laugh in the changing room does the best warm up in the club. Also has another occupation: fathering children!!!

Despite being last seasons top goalscorer Dawka was most effective supporting the front players from midfield. He's was pressed into service both upfront and at the back but anywhere on the pitch is better than being banned again.
