Macca was with the club for more than 10 years, a good shot stopper he kept his team in more than one match with some fine saves. Moving down to the reserves back in 1995 he was a virtual ever-present until the season before last when other commitments limited his appearances, allowing Carl Harker to share the duties. One unique memory I have of Dave was a reserve team cup game against Buckden 1st Team some years ago, he pulled off a fantastic save and the opposition players actually applauded. Now what is this all about?
