The Wayne (Chopper) Harris Page

Chopper had four seasons at the club after previously being with Brampton, he was one of Mark Spavins first signings. The 'Chopper' nickname obviously owes something to the famous Harris who played for Chelsea in the seventies but our Chopper lives up to it with his solid challenges. Not renowned for his scoring his best goal must have been in March 1998 when he weaved his way through half the Fordham team before banging it in from the edge of the area (that was after 5 minutes we then held on for the next 85 to record a famous win). This season sees Chopper unavailable on Saturdays but we hope to have him back in the fold next year.
