The Bob Carter Page

Bob is fairly unusual in that as a Manchester United fan he was actually born and bred around Manchester.

He moved into the village in the late eighties and told us what a great player he had been in his youth. Turning out for us up front and occasionally in goal Bob proved good to his word, yes, he was a 'has been'.

Delusions of power led to him taking on the 'poison chalice' otherwise known as Club Chairman before work and family led him to relinquish the role. Not satisfied with a wife and four kids Bob has fled to the sunny climes of Tucson Arizona where he keeps another wife and has started a second family.

Unfortunately, like the proverbial 'bad penny', he keeps turning up but any more talk of a certain 3-5 result and he'll be sleeping in the car.
