The Adam Swain Page Comment from Matt Plumb: Adam is another player who has spent his career at the club, playing for the reserves for two seasons before joining the 1st team. Over the last few seasons he has enjoyed many good seasons, scoring goals and being voted one of the best players in the team most seasons. Adam has now shaken off his niggling hamstring injury this year and looks to be getting back to his best and is sure to play a big part in the clubs future. Adam sets the standards most players should set themselves, no smoking or drinking, and is a keen trainer whose dedication is a joy to have as a manager.

Scoring regularly for the reserves (35 goals in 21 games in 2000/2001) forced him into first team reckoning and he opened his account with a nicely taken goal at Great Shelford in the cup. On his home debut first team league start he scored twice in the 4-3 home win over Cottenham United. Now Adam is an automatic 1st team starter and scorer. Adams pre-match warm up:
